Exploring the future of carbon capture and utilisation by combining an international Delphi study with local scenario development

Interested in what global experts think about what drives carbon capture and utilization (CCU) forward and what holds the development of the technology back other than technological progress, then this work is interesting for you.

In this work we find out what international experts think about five impact categories: (1) benefits, (2) risks, (3) future developments, (4) demand, and (5) supply constraints. We then had them rank these items on their importance. This was followed up by a scenario development excercise with local experts that results in a 2*2 scenario matrix of which each quadrant is described by a narrative.
